When is the time to go to Washington?
If not now, WHEN?
I don't know how to do it, but we should!

2. I think citizens need to meet now. We need to meet with other concerned |
|
citizens and build our local communities to better mobilize and come up with ways to better connect with our local, state and Federal lawmakers.
Calls and faxes are good, but they are not enough. We need to be less fragmented and do less work in the chair of our homes and more out in the world connecting with others to make the greatest difference.
Yes, a march is great, but I think meetings to look at what is working and what is not working is even more important now.

3. You bet! But just try prying people off their computers to do it |
|
It's so much easier to sit at a desk and pound away at the keys than it is to get out and organize a march in the streets. I wish that some organized marches were a direct result of some of our great discussions we have here all the time. Maybe in time they will be. For example, if a march was ever organized for this summer to call for Bush's impeachment, I'll bet that half the posters would make the trip.
Gawd knows we could all use the exercise, too!
