Matthews was just asking his panel which house seat would be hardest for Dems to win, and Whora said Harold Ford.

It was funny watching Matthews, and the rest of the panel, laugh their asses off as they explained to her that Ford was running for Senate.

1. Maybe I had bad teachers in grade school. Congress is composed
of twp branches - the House and the Senate. Three branches of gov't - judicial, congressional, and executive.

When they change that?

5. My bad. They were specifically talking about the house races, not senate.

6. Exactly. It's WRONG to restrict "Congress" to mean "House of Representatives"!

11. Were you referring to this segment of Hardball?
MATTHEWS: What‘s going to be the hardest one for the Democrats of the six they need to win, Howard Fineman?

FINEMAN: Of the six?

MATTHEWS: Pennsylvania, Ohio, Rhode Island, Missouri, Montana, Virginia.

FINEMAN: I would say Montana.

MATTHEWS: Hardest one, Tucker?

CARLSON: I think it is Rhode Island.

O‘DONNELL: I think it is Tennessee.

MATTHEWS: That is not on the list. That‘s seven.

O‘DONNELL: It is on my list.

CARLSON: She has a different list.
