omfg - Sen Conrad says he might vote in FAVOR of Alito
just said it on Ed Schultz show. Conversation was around the notion of whether to filibuster, which he stated that he was opposed, then went into conversation about how he talked to Alito privately and then talked out of both sides of his mouth regarding his concerns on executive authority, on the one hand very concerned about the issue but certain that Alito agrees with him.

THEN he said, that he's thinking about voting FOR Alito.

This guy is totally fucked up on the issues here.

I'm just reporting what i heard on the radio just a little while ago on AAR's Ed Schultz show, who i rarely ever listen to, but do so today because of the battle before us.

6. Heard the interview earlier - the Senator just had a meeting with
Alito.

He believes the lies Alito told him.

How convenient.

8. Any "Dem" that votes "for" Alito should be beaten w/a wire coathanger.
I see lots of coathangers in our future if this scary MFer gets on the Extreme Court.

Note to snoopy NSAers: This is meant as a figurative stmt, not a literal one. And oh yeah, I think you guys suck ass.

14. suck ass part is not figurative, though
you really mean it, I hope. And, if you don't mean it, I do!

Anybody voting for Alito sucks ass - and that includes all 55 Republicans.

21. Funny, I had the same thought today. Mailing wire coat hangers to

pro-Alito senate voters - especially the female ones.

A simple wire coat hanger fed-ex'd to their offices with a concise msg along the lines of "You Voted For It".

I also like public protests where we are all carrying wire coat hangers.

Sadly, this will not be hyperbole in our whacked out future!

9. We have some
Who are not and have never been in the Dem. party and should never again get any support from the party in any way! They are only blood sucking politicians who have, from the beginning, just sucked where the blood was closest, so they would have a lifetime income, from those they could suck from: The Citizens of the US!

16. Yes, that's what he implied on the radio..
he said he's 'thinking' of voting in favor of his confirmation. Didn't say he was, just that he was thinking that he would.

This guy does need to be sent a truckload of faxes, and a calls to jam his phone lines.

17. Nevertheless he "shilled" for Kerry at the end of his show today
he played a soundbite from Kerry's floor speech, commented that it sounds like Kerry is talking from the heart, commented that Conrad was still undecided, then said that he (Eddie) would like a fillibuster but that he doesn't think we have the votes (kinda like Pitt).

I did appreciate the soundbite as I'm trapped at work. Kerry did sound passionate.

to take the temperature, and gauge where we are.

keeping closer tabs on our opponents than on our allies, when engaged in trench war fare...
