Low-tech methods to fight voting machine fraud |
|
Edited on Tue Nov-07-06 12:12 AM by IdesOfOctober
If you don't have a video camera, camera phone, digital camera, or other means to videotape your vote:
1. Take a little notepad with you.
2. Note the manufacturer, make, model, etc. of the machine itself.
3. Be prepared to provide this to the DNC, for class action lawsuits against such manufacturers as Diebold.
Some states' consumer protection laws are extraordinarily broad and flexible - allowing the manufacturer of a "faulty" voting machine to be subjected to severe penalties.

2. Not every voter has one... |

... but this information can help when faced with recalcitrant local elections officials, who won't name the manufacturer used.
