Funny thing on local news

Local cable news is having a question and answer with the dem and repuke state heads, people are calling in. One caller asks about the wife abuse charge of a candidate. The news guy then says, which wife abuser are you talking about on the Republican side, there are two of them.

Ok so not funny that there are wife abusers really but the whole 'which Republican' just had me in stitches. The repukes have gotten so bad that we can't keep their scandals straight anymore.

This is the capital region of NYS. The candidate that the caller was talking about was John Sweeney (NY20) the incumbent who is in the race of his political career against Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand.

He denied it to begin with, but forgot about the fact that police call logs existed.

3. Sweeney is denying it too

said he would have the real report last week when the paper broke the story with the incident report. A couple of days after it broke his lawyer was on the news saying that even if they do get the report he is advising his client not to release anything. Either Sweeney is guilty or he needs a new lawyer.
What a sick and criminal group of people the GOP is.
