Folks, the D.C. Senate offices are STILL OPEN |
|
Here is a conversation that I just had with Ben Nelson's office:
staffer: "Senator Ben Nelson's office"
me: "Yes, I'd like to voice an opinion on the Alito confirmation please"
staffer: "You'd like to him to vote against Alito?" <pause> "and support the filibuster"
me: "Yes, I most assuredly would"
staffer: "Thank you, I'll let him know"
me: "Thank you very much"
Notice that the staffer was literally able to fill in the blanks as to why I was calling. I made NO mention of what my stance on Alito was, but I am guessing that he is getting one hell of a lot of calls AGAINST the good judge.
CALL BEN NELSON"S OFFICE, DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Most offices close at 6. Some west coast stay open until 7. |
|
alaska and hawaii sometimes stay open even later.
If not, CALL THE DISTRICT OFFICES. Almost all stay open until 5 or 6 local time.
