Will Bushies pull Osama out of the freezer tomorrow?

Top GOP strategist Grover Norquist said back in January this was part of their plan to win the November 2006:

...And then for the coup de grace, says Norquist, his baby face breaking into a wide grin: "We'll bring in al-Zarqawi and Osama Bin Ladin."

Sure enough, Zarqawi was killed (or at least there was a PR event to that effect) in June.

What about the Osama half of the equation?

To be of any use, they'd have to spring that by mid-afternoon at the latest to get any effect--at this point, probably just getting people to watch TV long enough for them to not notice the polls closed.

What happened or is going to happen with Norquist prediction?

1. Osama is too useful alive...

they owe him, and besides, everything he did, he did under their instructions. :tinfoilhat: Still, it's strange... for while there may be honor among thieves (terrorists?), I'm surprised Bush hasn't double-crossed Osama anyway, because they lack even have that modest amount of honor (which is itself very tiny if it exists at all).

Or nab him, keep him on ice til they need him, and trot him out just before election time.
