On my way to the polls

I'm a "Poll Manager" here in Salt Lake City. I'll be on my way to start setting up the dreaded machines (Diebold) in an hour, then it's off on a long day of trying to help my fellow citizens make it through the apparently traumatic task of a new way of voting...all while having little confidence in the process myself. We've been told to expect as high as 50% turnout, though, honestly, I'd be shocked. It would be wonderful thought, to see. Even here in Utah, where it would definitely mean that the Repugs got out the vote. Still, participation is the key, right?

I'll keep telling myself that all day. I'll try to post later tonight after things close down and I get through catching up with the days events. I'm sure there will be a lot to catch up on.

I'm stressed about the outcomes nation wide. I'm stressed about the lines today. But I'm relaxed because this is what it boils down it...showing up and doing your part. So, go vote if you haven't; pray if you believe; hope if you have any because this is it. This is where change starts.
