I don't think I'm going to be able to vote
I moved and I couldn't figure out what precinct I was in. Makes absentee voting difficult. Now, it's too late to vote absentee. I am six hours away from the place(s) where I could vote, and I'm willing to drive the twelve hours round trip, but I need to know when the polls close. Anyone know?

3. Yes.
I moved from Bacliff to Santa Fe, but I don't know the precincts. They're only 15 minutes apart, so if one turns me down I can drive to the other.

4. Check out this page, scroll down for election day
http://home.austin.rr.com/aims/geoweb/galv/gcppboth.htm

It gives the precincts/polling places in Galveston Cty, and there are a few in Santa Fe. One of them must be yours!

6. I can just make it, then.
I know where to vote. My brother lives with me and I just go with him.

7. Don't you have to register???
Everywhere I've lived a person has to send in a voter change of address card to the county clerk's office and then they send you a precinct memorandum card. If you aren't registered you can't vote. Of course I live in Oregon and we are lucky enough to vote by mail....no standing in the rain for us.
