U.S. refining capacity is limited.
Americans are driving big gas guzzlers and they haven't changed their driving habits a bit (Like we're all going to stop driving to work).

I just wish one of those blithering idiots could tell me which of those excuses for the rapid increase changed enough to facilitate the rapid decrease. And if the drop was really due to the end of the Summer driving season, then why is it going up again?

I predict close to $3.00 gallon by Thanksgiving and another record quarter for Big Oil.
