but holding for 15 minutes on a cell phone when you're driving to work is not good and I can't call from work. Another DU'er has kindly offered to call for me, but I'm sure many who tried to call gave up and hung up.
We'll never really know the magnitude of the problems.

After six year this shold NOT BE HAPPENING. I blame this also on the Democrats in Congress not taking this issue seriously
It is up to the people to do whatever it takes

35. Don't blame the DEMS IN CONGRESS. Voting is a state-by-state |

issue. Blame the state legislatures for dropping the ball but don't blame Congress.

15. Might wanna actually bookmark election threads on your browser |
|
Come this evening, this place will be so busy that many features will be down. Sometimes that includes one's ability to use the MY POSTS feature.
I just remembered the frustration of trying to find specific threads after Katrina. Just created a special DU ELECTION DAY THREADS folder in my personal Favorites folder on my browser.
DU will be hoppin tonight and we won't be able to rely on many of the features we generally use.
Have a great Day and GOTV! :hi:

On the map, Ohio is the only state in red - meaning there's been more than 250 incidents of voting problems there already. Blackwell's doing a smashing job as SOS, I see.

I didn't think NY would be so high on the list. Didn't think they'd bother messing with such a blue state.
Hmmmm--California's up there--is Cali this year's Florida/Ohio? (They seem to switch states each election...)

The map is showing 8 "incidents" in Denver, and it's clearly much more than that.

Joplin precinct runs out of ballots!
Workers at the Jasper County Clerk’s office were telling those who vote at Cecil Floyd Elementary School in Joplin to wait a while before casting their votes.
Shortly after noon, election judges discovered they had run out of ballots. An employee at the county clerk’s office said they were taking more ballots to the Joplin precinct.
