A MORE Principle-Driven fight for Kerry than Saving the Court???
NO! This is it. Senate confirmations of Alito, Scalito or a bag of turd don’t get average Joe and Jane excited. This is not the most popular fight for any Democrat to lead.

Kerry is leading and he is doing it in a modest and principled way.

In his ineffective and weak response to the MoveOn online primary questionnaire Kerry was the only candidate to emphasize the future of the Supreme Court as one of the major factors motivating his Presidential campaign.

He is now fighting the good fight even though only “fringe” groups understand its importance, and even if on the loosing side.

1. He's modest, principled, but ineffective and weak?
WTF are you saying?

2. Sorry, Just recalling the Kerry response to MoveOn questionnaire.
Its strong emphasis on the Court rather than Iraq etc was perhaps misguided at the time,
but I don't doubt it was principled.

4. I smell flamebait
Be sure to wear your fireproof jammies around this place for the next few days, cause there will be brush fires breaking out everywhere.

8. Alito is a life time appointment. Has the opportunity to remake the legal
landscape for generations, not to mention solidifying the power of an unchecked Presidency at home and abroad...I think it's a fight very worth making. Just my 2 cents.
