There! Gotcha! Hey, it's a better post than is p**ssy offensive, right?
But I do. I wish life were as simple as the cartoon world GW lives in. Good guys always win... everything is black and white. A world where "Stay the course" makes sense and is not indicative of delusional pathology. You know what I think? Dear Leader grew up watching too much TV. It's all over in 60 minutes, including commercials. And there is never a question who wins. I'd love to put my hand over my heart and sign the National Anthem with real gusto and without those nagging little images of dead children in sandy lands and floating corpses on the Gulf left for weeks. But I can't. I love my country and I love what we have tried to accomplish and that we keep trying. So the anthem to me, is stirring...but it stirs up melancholy as well as pride. But I just can't seem to find that world GWB lives in. I think the door is locked, or its another dimension. Or somebody turned off the TV.
Somebody email me and tell me who wins tonight. I can't turn the set on. After I vote I'm going out to dinner and imbibe immoderately.
