Denver, CO Democratic party is asking for extended hours
It's on the news here now, going to district court shortly to ask for extended hours because the polling books (computerized) were not available and many people had to leave. I'll post a link once it's available.

2. Y'know? Every time I hear about stuff like this
It amazes me. they have only "known" about this election since...well FOREVER..and yet every election cycle, they "claim" these problems are unforeseen and unusual..

I mean..bakers don't show up at the bakery a half hour before the bakery opens.

There should be poll workers AT the polls (along with the watchers and officials) at least 2 hours before the polls open, so that all machines are up and runing, and all materials necessary are there and ready to go..

:grr:

The suit, which is expected to be filed Tuesday, cites the technical problems which occurred at various Denver polling places.

4. I haven't voted yet
at my vote center in Baker Neighborhood the line was 200 ft. long at 10:30 AM. My wife works down in the tech center, all of her fellow workers were reporting problems where they voted (or tried to vote). This is looking like a real mess, and an entirely predictible one.

I'm going to close my business down at three and go stand in line - good thing it's a nice day.
