This thread really burns me. Fuckhead freeper is lying about a DUer trying to do the right thing and accusing said person of voting twice. If you read the thread here that the freeper has linked to, it is abundantly clear that this person is super conscientous and trying mightily to do the right thing. There are a couple of decent people on the thread pointing this out, but most of the hyenas over there are simply screeching their faux outrage. They are beyond disgusting.

7. I read the whole Freepland thread. Most of them are being reasonable.

There are a few idiots (as happens here at DU, too), but most of the Freepers seem to have a pretty accurate read on this.

By my count, the majority of the posts do NOT have an accurate read on what's happening, and they've reported lazyariver to the FBI. I noted that some freepers objected to the characterization of wrongdoing as erroneous, but it's not most of them by any stretch.

Yesterday the Freepers were all excited because a poll conducted by a guy indicted for voter fraud showed Rick Santorum only four points behind Bob Casey. The poll was totally invalidated early in the day, yet the Freepers kept whooping and celebrating late into the evening over the sudden surge in Santorum's popularity.

Free Republic is great as a source of cheap amusement, but really nothing else.
