For the first time in my 42 years my mother voted today!

She has never voted in any election as long as I've been alive.

I begged her and my aunt to vote because of the "Marriage Amendment" on the ballot today. And I was stunned when she called and said she had gone and voted.

Join me in thanking my mom, as well as all the others that DU members have talked into voting in one of the most important elections of our lives.

(BTW, yes, I voted, too. Paul and I were #17 and #18 in line this morning.)
