As a fitting tribute to our emancipation from one party rule and the terror the Republicans have rained down on our country every Democrat that voted today should walk around with a purple index (or middle) finger and wave it around so that the world knows you love your country. What better way could we demonstrate our love of democracy than by the employing the cudgel that the Republicans beat us over the head with in 2004 to show that we took part in overthrowing their tyranny.
