Sen Feinstein now supporting filibuster....
Edited on Fri Jan-27-06 07:41 PM by AntiFascist
Upon calling the Los Angeles office we were just told that they received word from the DC office that Sen. Feinstein has decided to support the filibuster.

On Edit: whoops, we called the LA office, not San Francisco (SF was busy)

2. Great!
We have to keep fighting ......
millions of $s are being spent to tells us that it
is all over ...... but it is not.

If we can just convince some of the anti filibuster dems to abstain from
voting on cloture.

4. I agree, this should make the media look really bad!!!!

Sen. Feinstein is a moderate Dem, so she should be setting quite an example to the remaining "Gang of 14" whoever they are. What's up with Sen. Byrd anyway?

3. yes, we know.. it's been posted here and commented on..
i just heard a segment on wolfy's sish u a shun program that Cindy Sheehan made a public announcement that she will run against DiFi if she doesn't come out in support of a filibuster...

now i understand why DiFi flip flopped on this... that explains it!

The very idea that Cindy Sheehan would be considered a threat to Difi's re-election is interesting, specifically interesting that Difi considers her a potential threat.

the report did say that Difi came out with her announcement to support a filibuster before Cindy Sheehan made her announcement.

interesting, very interesting..

9. I didn't hear about that, interesting
Maybe Cindy needs to do that with all of our democrats not supporting them.
Something scared Feinstein really quick.

she has not made an "official" statement yet. The LA office is taking calls until 5:30pm PST. (213) 894-5000.
