I remember two years ago, I was sure we won. Seeing the despondent Republicans and the jubilant Democrats I was sure we won. Bush would be gone. We all know how that turned out.
But I am even more sure this time. Turnout is up. The exit polls look good. And we have been ahead in the generic polls for months. After the disappointment of 2004 and the near certainty with which people chose to blame gays for the loss, I am almost scared to hope. But I am sure this time. We will see Speaker Pelosi and a Senate without Dewine, Santorum, Talent, Burns, and maybe Allen.
Chairman Rangle, Chairman Frank, Chairman Hastings, Speaker Pelosi. I can't wait.

I know what you mean. Exit polls showed us leading in FL and OH I think. But this time we have the momentum on our side. I don't think it will be repeat of 2004.

3. I'm not letting the exit polls get my hopes up this time... |
|
But I am still cautiously optimistic...
