If he had done his job in the first place and asked direct, succint questions of Alito and point blank asked him to answer the question as to how he would vote on Roe V. Wade and challenged him to answer as Ruth Bade Ginsburg had been asked to and done, instead of grandstanding and trying to play the stright shooting, joke with your buddy guy he likes to paint himself as, then maybe just MAYBE we wouldn't be in this fucking position we're in now.
