If my country "needed" me to fight an unnessesary and unprovoked war, they'd just have to look elsewhere to fill that need. If my counry "needed" me to start IVs in a prison so that people could be murdered by the state, I'd tell them to go pound sand. If my country "needed" me to provide information on leftist or antiwar neighbors, my reply would be caustic, pithy, and incredibly rude.
There are a lot of "needs" that my country thinks it has when it's being led by a halfwit surrounded by lunatics. Those "needs" are going to have to be unfulfilled by me.
