Please Filibuster Alito

For the love of America, for the oath you took to the constitution, for my children and yours, for we the people and all of the innocent victims of an executive branch absolutely corrupted with power.

We need to lead democracy by example rather than languish in the folly of fallen empires. You were elected to office to represent us and it's your responsibility to do that.

I'm sorry that Mrs. Alito cried during the hearing, but I blame the selfishness of her husband, Republican extremists and the corporate media for turning it into a pity party for political gain.

Mr. Alito should have considered the emotional effect his extreme judicial record would have on his family before accepting George Bush's offer to become a Supreme Court Justice. I feel even more sorry for his children that their father put them through such embarrassment.

Have the radicals in the Republican party no shame? Are the reasonable people in the Republican and Democratic parties more loyal to their corporate donors than to the American people they represent?

I challenge you to put what is best for America above whatever might cause you to allow Alito to be confirmed as a Supreme Court Justice.
