"Filibuster Unlikely" = Spin to make us give up hope.

That just occurred to me.

All of these polls, headlines, commentary about the pointlessness and unliklihood of a filibuster - well, there wouldn't be so much of that stuff if They weren't worried.

That beezwax is designed to make "regular" people feel that there's no point so why bother making those calls!

1. Nonsense.
The pukes have enough votes for cloture. Headlines like that, dispiriting as they may be, are simply accurate.

The corporate media really, really wants him in. They stepped up the rightwing shilling to the nth degree. You can see it in Tweety's screechings, the wording of the polls on AOL and MNBC, and their dismissive coverage of Kerry. They are scared out of their minds that their boy won't get in.
