Hi all. This past Christmas my dad got me a new printer because my old one didn't install on the computer for whatever reason after I had a crash down. This new printer has a fax machine on it as the other one did. I've never used a fax machine before and was wondering if y'all could tell me how it works. I would love to fax some Senators instead of just Emailing. Does it charge to fax or is it like a regular phone call from your house? Thanks in advanced for the help.

1. For mine, its no more than the phone company billing for that call. |

Typically that's less than a minute in duration, but a dozen or two at a time could add up. I think there are fax programs/services that handle bulk faxing at a considerable saving, but they too have costs.

What all do I have to do? I've never done a fax before.
