Re: Alito on the Tweety Show
Some reporter named Mary Ann Akers said that Kerry always seems to be in the wrong place and the wrong time, including now.

She also says that Bush is winning on the NSA issue, so consider the source.

1. Eagerly lapped up by Tweety who then called JK the "Joker" in Batman.
These so-called journalists make me sick! The whole show seemed to be dedicated to building up Bush's credibility on national security and the "War on Terror."

Heaven forbid they would point out that Bush has failed miserably in bringing to justice the man who perpetrated 9/11--Osama bin Laden.

2. Tweety also said with great emphasis that Kerry was in Switzerland when
saying it.

I also was annoyed by David Gregory who spread the lie that there were no strong voices in the Democratic Party... I guess he missed Al Gore's great speech...

5. He didn't?
What a pathetic trivialist. He's trying to swiftboat him, a la Dixie Chick.

Maybe it's time for the Republicans to understand that we are in the Information Age and Global Era.

3. it was a non-stop whorefest
He belittled Democrats for the entire show and pumped up the incompetent monkey at every opportunity. He even single-handedly confirmed Alito.

Matthews is garbage...I can't believe I left it on.

6. Even David Gregory was shilling for Bush
Today's show was the perfect example - PERFECT - of how the corporate media guts the truth and bends perceptions with this ridiculous propaganda.

Bush's spying is a BIG WIN in the 2006 midterms - the Kerry slams, without mentioning that he was on Senate business in Davos - the obligatory Hillary smackdown - the snide jokes about Kaine and traffic in Northern Virginia - it's enough to make your head spin.

8. I really had believed we had a clear voice with David Gregory until
this show, and you are right on all points. One must remember that it's GE that butters his bread.......

7. Matthew's time is almost up.
He'll never be as popular as Rush Limbaugh is to the right, and the Left will remember him as the 21st Century McCarthy.

9. This is the kind of crap we have to start challenging relentlessly
Five complacent Washington "insiders" telling us whast we think.

They decide that Kerry is a "joker" to undermine everyobne who believes that Democrats need to takje a stand on Alito.

They put our side in a "damned if we do and damned if we don't position." Thus they perpetuate GOP talking points.

We HAVE to let these Washington talking heads that they do NOT have the "inside track" on what is happening out here in the "sticks" outside of the Beltway.

11. CBS and ABC do not do things like this.
They are no where near perfect, but you don't see this blatent "panel whoring" for Bush.
Remember, GE owns NBC, therefore, you must tow the Repub line or else.
