John at Americablog is NOT supporting the filibuster. What's your take ?
I'd really like to know. I've left my comments on his blog.
I think we should suppport John Kerry in his effort. After,
all, he IS our actual president. He honestly won. Shrub did not.

3. intellectually john opposes but isnt going to diss effort
turk though is from the intellectual heart seeing filibuster, and you are wrong, this is why. but he is respectful to john. i think john has an opinion but is going to watch what happens, and learn something here.

8. I See Where He's Coming From And Respect His Position Completely.
I think he handled himself there in a top notch manner and I'm quite impressed with his respect for others.

I agree with his suggestion that this can potentially really cause some significant damage to our image. What I disagree with him on is that in spite of that filibustering is still the right thing to do, regardless of political implications. Sometimes doing what's right has to transcend politics, as is the case here.

9. Alito should NOT be a "bipartisan" appointment
If Alito is going to limit our constititional rights, then the GOP has to be on the record as "owning" Judge Alito 100%.
