Got an 'auto' response to my e-mail to Spector re: Alito. Didn't expect
anything else. They must all be going nuts by now.

I think, at this moment, he is a very conflicted man. He knows the promises that he made to his district and he feels the foot of the GOP rising at his back. I think he is agonizing over this and will be damned no matter which way he falls by one side or the other.

Did you see this post today? http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=364x265561 I think the Senators listed at the bottom there are feeling great pressure from the GOP to fall in line. We need their districts to speak loudly and we need it now!
