My email to Biden
his statement today that he would vote no ONE time for cloture has been bugging me since I heard it and so I finally sent this email:

I heard with great sadness your statement today that you would vote no on cloture one time on the
Alito nomination. Do you think we are idiots? Do you actually believe that you later will be able to tell us that you supported those of us who want our Democratic Senators to do EVERYTHING they can to stop this man from being confirmed to a life time appointment. Then will also try to tell the other side that you supported them by ending debate. Well this life time Democrat is not as stupid as you may wish. You use to be one of my favorite Democratic Senators. Your lack of leadership in
opposing this horrific administration along with other Democrats has shook me to my core. You need to stop listening to the political consultants and worrying so much about your next election and do the RIGHT THING. Democrats who think if they are Republican light they will be successful will fail every time Your risk on this vote Senator is not that you will upset the right but that you will lose your base - and if you do this consider me lost to you in any national aspirations you might
have. Stop disappointing us and

STAND UP NOW ON THE FIRST CLOTURE VOTE AND ALL CLOTURE VOTES.

1. He is owned and operated by corporations
Delaware is the official home to many corporations. They like incorporating there because of some favorable laws - I don't remember the details/

Nobody in Delaware gets elected to anything without the corporations' stamp of approval. DuPont comes to mind particularly.
