Picture this, people:
George Bush, on the eve of his State of the Union speech, when he is fighting for his political life with dismal poll ratings, a quagmire in Iraq, Iran and Pakistan electing Fundamentalists - getting his SECOND choice for a Supreme Court Justice FILIBUSTERED.

How much of Nancy Reagan's lovely china do you think he will smash during his tantrum. This supremely arrogant child will throw a hissy fit of UNIVERSAL proportions.

All because of the hard work of average Americans who felt powerless a few weeks ago.

I always knew that the MOST we could hope for was a 50/50 chance - I am so proud of all of you no matter how this pans out. I just wanted to help you visualize some sweet, sweet moments to help keep you going through tomorrow.

Rock on, Baby!
WOOT WOOT - give Alito the Boot!

5. In the Watergate tapes, Nixon (who didn't know him) kept
referring to his third choice (after Carswell and Haynsworth were defeated)as "Rehnsquat".

It's true! :-)

10. Ya know in_cog .......
Mind if I call you in_cog for the moment, that underline key is just way too much work for a Sunday night ... and my fingers are tired of dialing Senators phone/fax #'s for the last few days. My fingers are actually bleeding as we speak! (okay kidding bout that). Anyway yea I know, look there was this 'suspected freeper' I got into a heated debate with one night bout oh .... 5 days ago? anyway I used some words I didn't want Boo to hear. I shouldn't of used the words in the first place, but I told Boo to cover her ears, this may take awhile ..... and she ran ..... anyway .... okay I'll get her back in here tomorrow morning early for good luck! We're gonna need both Isabel and Boo there for the final round. Glad Isabel missed her! :hi:

9. Waaaaaaahhhh!
If this filibuster works I'll actually watch the State of the Union Just to see the look on Little Lord Pissypant's face.

Can you imaging the royal tantrum, can you imagine the screams and curses, can you imagine the cowering White House aides. This would be worse than when they had to show him the Katrina DVD to get him off the damn bicycle and make him pay attention to the fact that he was about to go down in history as the only president to lose a major American city.

The only thing is, I would worry about Barney. I mean the first thing that out of control bullies do when they don't get what they want is kick the dog.
