Dorgan's Response to Rabid RW C-SPAN caller--CLASSIC!

In case any of you missed it yesterday...a woman called in while Byron Dorgan was on who went on and on with the RW talking points of gloom and doom. She ended by saying she's going to pray for the next two years.

Dorgan listened calmly and displayed no change of emotion during her ranting. Then, after she slammed down the phone, he said:

"Well, put some sugar on your Cheerios, have a cup of coffee, and take a nap!"

1. That was a beautiful response!

I know when I worked, if someone came into my officehell bent on a tirade, I'd let them rant until they finally shut up, and then smail and say "Who pissed in YOUR Cheerios this morning?" I would get one of two responses. Their rage would instantly deflate, and they'd calm down and discuss their problem, or they'd get more outraged, turn red, and leave. Either result was fine with me.
