If he did run--he might run as an Independent. But I don't think he will.

4. It would be interesting if he ran as some kind of "fusion" independent.
Then the so called "moderates" from both parties would have someone to vote for without having to deal with their "wings".

I think it would be fine to have 2 parties that actually stand for something and a third one that "stands" for whatever happens to be popular at any given time.

They could be known as the "Politcal Opportunist Party" or the "Power Before Principals" party or the "Not as Bad" Party.
