Hilarious--- the Lieberman apologists hid the last couple of weeks before the election... |
|
Oh but now they've climbed out of their hidey holes and are spinning good old Joe as one great guy.
Cowards!

The love for "Holy Joe" amazes me. Do they not realize he was more or less propped up, and elected by pukes? Oh well

4. At least he's been neutered |

and can't speak as a Democrat anymore. He is a 'Connecticut for Lieberman' guy and does not speak for the Democratic Party.
He has been, to a large degree, declawed. Thank God for that.

...he will change his party affiliation back to the Democrats, if he hasn't done so already. AFAIK there's nothing to prevent him from switching his affiliation.

The flip-floppy Lieberman who is a Democrat when it pleases him and will jump ship if he thinks it helps him is not a positive for this guy.
He is not a Democrat. He is an independent who used Republican votes to get into office. And Republican money, lots and lots of Republican money.

It's against the rules of the board to support candidates other than Democratic Party. The election is over, so that's why they are out.

They used to be there to defend him as soon as you posted something then it just stopped. What don't they understand, the GOP paid for his win and for his votes. He owes them now!

8. They are prowar, pro-torture, pro-Bush dictatorship, and since Judas Joe |
|
has been the strongest defender of Bush's crimes, they love him for it.
Judas Joe was elected on the strength of Republican votes, Michael Bloomberg's money, and AIPAC-single issue voters.

Bring Joe back in...we can cure him. At least until he relapses. Then we'll love him and cure him again. Ad infinitum. Joe is a Republican. Through and through. I don't trust him as far as I can throw him.

You sound like a child who didn't get what he wanted for Christmas. Bottom line is Lieberman was chosen by the people of Connecticut, he's liberal and he's going to caucus with the Democrats.
This is politics not some sort of fantasy land where you get everything you want.

I don't see many of those. What I see is people knowing this is what we have to work with and trying to be practical. As in, able to work in practice.
One can argue and question where the independent votes would have gone had Lieberman not run. But at the end of the day this is STILL what we have.
