Voting reform
I hope the Dems make voting reform a top priority. Just because we won doesn't mean that there aren't problems with our system. We need to return to a system run more by civic duty than technology. Bring back a system that relies on paper ballots and optical scanners, which can be backed up by humans physically counting the ballots when necessary. This critical issue cuts across all the political divides, and is essential to the preservation of democracy.

1. We need to make the wars a priority right now, but
election reform is certainly second on my list for debate.

2. Did I hear right on Stephanie this morning?
I think they said that the only places where the exit polls didn't match the results were...Montana and Virginia. What do those two places have in common?

On ABC Wednesday, they had a warm, fuzzy story about an elections official in Montana who -- oopsie -- hit the wrong button and deleted a bunch of votes. They were on paper ballots and could be rescanned, but I sat there screaming "Is that guy flipping the vote?" If it had been somewhere where the votes weren't close, I wouldn't have thought about it.

The whole piece was -- haha -- the guy made a boo-boo and fessed up to it. Look at all his integrity. I couldn't believe my eyes.

3. Make voting mandatory & that way it would be a crime to tamper with

anything having to do with the act of voting itself or the results etc..
