3. LAPD are such outstanding citizens
The drugs war has turned the force in to guards of a prison,
of course they treat all persons like abu grahib prisoners.
I'm suprised the guy was not stripped naked.

8. Well, exactly.
Truthfully, as a person who is in law enforcement, how many times have you seen the ranks close around an officer who has done something wrong? Or a member of his family?

I have seen it several times and firsthand. I am not in law enforcement. It's frightening.

9. Right. The "punishment" usually consists of some paid time off
while the "investigation" is conducted and then it's back to business as usual where "officer safety" trumps the rights of civilians every time.

11. love you guys, i appreciate yawl when i need you, but.......
there are some real isues with our police force, and police have a place in owning their part. it is not all the police fault, much bigger problem. couldnt pay me (and i understand not much) to do that job. not a simple answer. but is a big problem

6. It must be nice to have a job where if someone pisses you off
you can just beat the hell out of them.

7. I love LA!
60+ years and still going strong.

Gee, I wonder why so many people are afraid of, and hate, the police?
