3. The Gang of 14 wouldn't be that bad if...

The Republicans broke party ranks as much as the Democrats break party ranks. There are lot more spinless Democrats than Republicans that vote on conscience.

A rise of a 3rd party might not be a bad thing. It would cut down on the partisian line votes and attacks and make people work for agreements.

5. For the last fucking time.
The Gang of 14 is working COMPELETELY SEPARATELY from Democratic leadership. The party has ZERO control over them. What part of that do you not understand?

6. But it's a numbers thing
The point about them is that they have the numbers to make or break a filibuster.

7. Who has the numbers?
The DNC does not. Why in the fucking world would you punish the DNC when they have nothing to do with this?

Would you punish your child for something his friend did?

8. But I have given to both senate & house dem fund drives.
I will give to individuals but not one more dime to collective dems
until the collective dems grow a fucking spine.

Alito lied under oath ...... any piece of shit that votes for him can go
directly to hell.

Sorry, I live in Ohio and I am sick to death of this spineless shits as our
country slides into ruin.

12. You still didn't answer
What does the DNC have to do with the Gang of 14? How do you justify keeping money that would go to getting possibly "good" Democrats elected just because 7 Democrats, who are CLEARLY not taking orders from the party's leadership, didn't do what you want them to do? What fucking sense does that make?

Bitter, table for one.

10. Oxymoron ...
Democratic leadership. You know, like Jumbo Shrimp.

If there were any leadership in the corporatist Democratic Party, there wouldn't be a gang of fourteen to subvert the will of the people.

If, indeed, that's what they plan to do.

11. You speak in absolutes
and yet "will of the people" is quite a subjective thing to say. If the people had willed it, we wouldn't be in a position to filibuster in the first place, would we?
