As a Georgian, let me express my extreme disgust with this sorry excuse for a human being.

I apologize on behalf of all Georgia Democrats and progressives for our state (with the help of Diebold and Democratic Secretary of State Cathy Cox of Georgia) having elevated this chickenhawk piece of shit to the United States Senate. :(

I've seen some scathing posts today from folks with gop senators and to think I'm feeling good in comparison - trent lott and thad cochran are noble statesmen compared to some of the monsters on the gop side of the aisle. coburn and chambliss are at the top of the sack of shit list, no doubt. I had a wonderful three years living in Georgia and cannot help but be saddened that such a beautiful state would be represented in Washington by such a man. Take all your anger out on the cute little fascist ralphie reed.

We are unfortunate enough to have Chambliss and Isakkson as senators. We used to have the likes of Sam Nunn and Max Cleland as senators.

I have anti-Reed flyers which I put on the windshields of cars with those fish symbols. I figure those folks are the most likely to vote for Reed. I even distributed my flyers when Reed spoke at a local Fourth of July event in a nearby small town. The Christian Coalition, GA GOP and the neo-Confederates (selling Confederate flags, t-shits and hats at their very own booths) were all in attendance. Those three groups form an unholy alliance. :(

I come from the state that once brought the likes of Sam Erwin and John Edwards to the Senate. Now we have Dole (evil) and Burr (even more horribly evil). :-(

You have my sympathy. I bet you are really missing Edwards. Dole is worthless. I feel bad for the entire Southeast. I've got Sessions to the west, Huckleberry Graham to the east, Frist to the north and a Republican senator and Gov. Jeb Bush in FL to the south.
