staff lady was non-committal...told her if Herb will vote to uphold the filibuster, I'll be out there walking precincts for his this summer.

that's about as nice as I could get....had to refrain from threatening (Herb isn't afraid of competition...isn't afraid of losing contributions...he's got his own money) even though I wanted to scream and jump up and down....

sigh....don't know if it does any good unless they're counting calls..
