I'm not respecting any dem votes for cloture. I'm really not. |
|
As much slack as I give elected dems, I don't see this one. There's no downside, and we know enough about Alito to at least worry that he is very bad news. What's the point of hesitating?] What else is there going to be that's safer and more obvious? A nomination of a mass murderer?

2. Nope, if they vote for cloture, I will give a donation to any |
|
Democrat who opposes them in the primary, and will consider donating to a non religious, Goldwater GOP who opposes them in the general election.
That's how deeply I feel about this one. If they vote for cloture, I will work to defeat them.
We can always get rid of a GOP later.

7. I think that's fair enough. Where's the judgment? |
|
When issues come up from time to time and they use bad jugdment, they lose support. True for Bush, true for dems. It's not enough to be right on issues in the abstract.

3. Agreed - Alito does not belong on the court |
|
He is a right wing ideologue plain and simple.
Dems who vote for cloture are off my list.

5. I just wrote to the senators that |

I've supported in the past (including monitarily) that are now chosing to oppose the filibuster. I ensured them that my money and efforts will go to real Democrats should any appear to oppose them in their next elections.

8. Any Democrat who votes for aLIEto or cloture should not expect any more |
|
money or help from the Democratic party or Democratic voters. To all those "What do you want us to be like THEM and vote in LOCKSTEP?"
ON this vote HELL YES. That is how they became The majority party. That and crooked elections. WE can not fix anything unless we stand together NOW.

9. Well, FOR cloture and YES on Alito is at least not moronically... |
|
...and immorally inconsistent.
And if it doesn't sink the filibuster a "pass" is in order.
