to articles about Halliburton and "*'s mysterious new programs" about half way into it.
Halliburton's been building holding facilities here in the US among other things.

Interesting article with great links.

1. Former GOP Gov of MT nearly bankrupted the state building prisons
Edited on Mon Nov-13-06 11:51 AM by havocmom
and there are not enough convicted felons here to fill them. Then, he went on to be a party big-wig with GOP and bush/Cheney, well paid lobbyist for ENRON and so on.

I wasn't up here in MT when Racicot was gov, but the place was sure a mess when I got back after his tenure.

Prisons, and lots of really good pavement put down on obscure, little used highways since then.

Haven't looked into who built the prisons, who profited, but willing to make a guess...

edit: typo

5. Someone could TRY and find any record that prove Racicot registered for draft
back when he came of age to be required to do so. Nobody seems to be able to come up with that either ;)

Just another war profiteering chicken hawk, willing to turn people into money without any moral qualms at all. And he is very telegenic. Suddenly laid low past couple of years... get the goods on this guy or they will run him down the road.

3. good article
The investigations by John Conyers and Henry Waxman - both armed with subpoena powers - could connect the dots linking Cheney's Energy Task Force, oil companies, Halliburton, pre-war deceptions and poor post-invasion planning.

The results of that investigation might shock the American people, adding to public pressure for impeachment.

11. Oh I am sure their list of potential detainees
far exceeds the number of spaces available in these camps.
