why does llittle shit act like a little saint now?
what does he have up his sleeve?
who has given him a good shaking-to?
the man is no more a little saint than any of the bush scumbags.

i wonder what the act is about. i wonder when he will take-off the mask. i just wonder!

2. Maybe now he feels 'free'???
Just an idea... maybe under Republicans he felt the stress of being their puppet.

6. I think it's the opposite of free
I think he's been taken into custody by Poppy's guard.

21. From his POV not having to think means free, IMO
He is now surrounded by people who have no respect for him whatsoever, which apparently is the 'sweet spot' to which he's accustom.

4. Because their script is no longer valid.
The teleprompter has been turned off.

The agenda has left the building.

He's actually talking now. That's why. He isn't parroting.

8. I wonder too
I got the same feeling.. like he has something up his sleeve.. it's so unlike him up to now. I have a feeling that the strategy now, is to play nice for 2 years to cool things down, at which point their base will be ready to reelect a GOP ahole. Just a feeling.

12. I have the same feeling - he is just waaaay to humble.
It's so out of character, it's ridiculous. It makes me very suspicious - call me cynical, but I just can't believe that they are going to change their stripes and play nice with the democrats now. They're up to something.

14. It's pretty obvious. He's making a show of bipartisanship. This gives him
options.

If he thinks the Dems have something on him, he can cooperate. If he thinks the Dems can be beaten still, then he can say, "hey, I TRIED to cooperate, but the Democrats played politics."

17. Isn't that what little kids do when they get busted?
They act like holy terrors until they get busted then it's all sweetness and light and "forgive me mommy". Pure manipulation.

20. He is still playing the script he was given.
The "Iraq Study Group" is making him toe the line. What I am really waiting to hear are the reports from "un-named White House sources" about how OUT of control his behavior is behind closed doors. My guess Junior isn't a bundle of fun to be around these days.
