CNN bunch whoring for Joementum's defection... |
|
Edited on Mon Nov-13-06 06:35 PM by Flubadubya
What a trip! Wolf Blitzer, along with Carol Costello reported "the story" about how Lieberman may be "the most powerful man in the country" right now and that how his defection to the Rethugs would mean the end of the Democrats' majority (maybe even before they have it, says Wolfie). The gleaming and glinting from these peoples' eyes was veritably blinding!
Costello crowed about how much 'MoJo' Lieberman has right now, and Wolf was virtually orgasmic when discussing the proposition with William Cohen, who thinks it is a distinct possibility if the Democrats try to "lean too far to the left, especially in matters of security".
I have never seen such a complete, blowout Pep Rally in all my days as I just witnessed on CNN. It's like the Presstitutes can just taste the snatching of victory from the Dems... obviously this is their fondest desire.
Perhaps they think they can persuade Lieberman by inflating his ego like a Zeppelin.
Ack... what a slimy show it was! :puffpiece::grr::puffpiece::mad:

1. I'm Sure They Can Persuade Him |

and that's what worries me most.
It's a game called "Let's you and him fight." Bloodlust in the media is never satisfied. The goal is to sell advertising!

2. I know that I'm gonna get flamed for this BUT... |
|
Honestly, I'd like to cut the treasonous, rat bastard loose. I'd even give up the Senate to do it. We'll see how powerful the little mother f*cker is then, eh? Asshole. The last thing I think we should do is pander to this prick. Just my 2 cents...

Hell no, at least not until Reid is the Senate majority leader and the Dems have the majorities in all these committees.

I can not stand him. He is so phoney. I'd rather lose the majority than let him pull my chain.

All the committees will be turned over to the republicans. I hate to say to this but give Lieberman what he wants.

Apologies to sows everywhere.
That woman is fucking repulsive. Not looks-wise, but her attitude. I think she's another one with a secret FR account, if yaknowwhatImsayin'...

9. Sorry. Call his bluff. |

We cannot afford to let the Lieberman monster metastasize. He's an opportunist and he knows that he'll gain zero political advantage by switching Republican. However, he's always had an inflated opinion of himself and if we allow him to become all-powerful, dictating *our* agenda, in the end, it's not worth it.

Doesn't sound like many Democrats will give a rat's ass about Lieberman and his defections.
I really have come to hate this man.

18. Is it possible to do a recall agaisnt a Senator? |
|
Just wodnering if Joey goes to far off the reservation is ti possible to initiate a recall of a Senator in Connecticut. If joe shows his true colors and goes so far right that he losses the Dems who voted for hims could he be recalled and then would there be another election or does the Gov. do an appointment? Just wondering

20. If this is possible and the start would be signatures required perhaps the thing to do is: |
|
Get a petition circulating in Connecticut and get the required number of signatures and file them for authenticity and then have them on hand so if Joey goes off the reservation we file for a recall vote!

Liebermann was on TV Sunday and reiterated several time that he was an INDEPENDENT DEMOCRAT and would caucus with the Democrats. I got nothing from that interview that gave the impression he was even considering switching.

23. Mmm... so did you miss this part? |
|
MR. RUSSERT: Jim Jeffords of Vermont crossed over and joined the Democrats.
SEN. LIEBERMAN: Yeah.
MR. RUSSERT: And they gave—they gave him his committee chairmanship.
SEN. LIEBERMAN: Yeah.
MR. RUSSERT: You’re, you’re not ruling that out at some future time?
SEN. LIEBERMAN: I’m not ruling it out, but I hope I don’t get to that point.
He had just declared to Wolf Blitzer before the election that he would NEVER turn Republican. Looks like this kinda opens the door, eh?
