Did the media somehow miss out on the recent election?
Edited on Mon Nov-13-06 06:43 PM by SoCalDem
The public spoke...and spoke LOUDLY..

What did they say?

The public said THIS:

We are TIRED of republican ideas. We are tired of republicans' scandalous ways. We are tired of looking at them. We are tired of listening to them..

A little bit of post-game analysis is fine, but all I have seen on TV for a solid week, is republicans still trying to spin that same ole manure into a new ,crispy, sparkling shit blanket.

We want them OFF the air..OUT of our living rooms..OUT of our heads.

We hated their "plans" when they were in charge, we threw them OUT, and we still hate their lame ideas.

On edit: We DO want to see them lined up at a table, under oath, answering questions.. questions that do not concern where they buy their fine suits or get that spiffy "rug-do"..

3. The media is republican.
Of course they are participating in downplaying the democrats and spinning things in the favor of Republicans (in this case, by pushing bipartisanship dreams). They did this throughout Clinton's two terms. They continued with the lopsided coverage throughout Bush's terms so far. There is no reason to expect it to change now.

They don't care what the voters want. They care about what their corporate owners want, and what the investor class wants.
