Three and a half years into this nightmare they're convening a STUDY GROUP? What is this, graduate school? Its the most absurd thing I've ever heard of.

1. Worse, The Dufus was on TV and made innane remarks a 5th grader would say...
No dialogue...made some remarks and that was it...Did he ask questions???They never did say...and if he did...what were those questions??? You can usually tell a persons makeup from the quality of questions asked....Poor Bush, unable to ask for fear of revealing his ignorance....

5. he spewed total BS
as usual and his little tony too.....

Bush discussed the meeting with reporters during a picture-taking session in the Oval Office with visiting Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.

"I was impressed by the questions they asked. They want us to succeed in Iraq, just like I want us to succeed. So we had a really good discussion," Bush said.

As to newly empowered Democrats, he said, "What's interesting is they're beginning to understand that with victory comes responsibility, and I'm looking forward to working with the Democrats to achieve common objectives."

White House spokesman Tony Snow described the meeting with the Iraq panel as a "general conversation about the situation there," rather than a preview of what the group will recommend. "This was not proposal-shopping by the Iraq Study Group," Snow said.

8. He's talking to them and us about responsibility?
Whatever happened to those thousands of dollars that went "Missing"? Remember when they found some type of weapons, I think explosives or something like that, and they left them unguarded? And outing a CIA agent is responsible? And when did he ever give us any type of idea of what "victory" (what a joke) meant in Iraq and had an exit plan. "Victory means exit strategy and it's important for the president to tell us what the exit plan is." Gov George W Bush from when Clinton went into Kosovo. So why is it that Bush didn't have to deliver but he could say all this crap about Clinton?

It is BILLIONs of US Dollars missing and There were over 380 TONs of high explosives left unguarded. Enough to keep Iraq a quagmire of generations. Coincidence??

2. yeah, that occured to me the other day as well...
study group? a) it sounds like something from college or high school; and b) we're way beyond 'studying' now that we've illegally invaded and have been occupying for 3+ years.

3. Think of it as the George Aiken Committee
Their job is to tell Bush to declare victory and get out.

6. A few hundred thousand of us marched on Washington DC
Sept 24 2005 to tell them it was a bad idea but nobody in the White House was listening.
