are we certain ensign will be a no-show? How long does the vote stay open?
According to press reports, he was released from the hospital in Las Vegas around 11 am. If that was east coast time, he could conceivably be back in DC by by 5 pm (or maybe even a little earlier). If it was 11 am Las Vegas time, he could get back until after 7 pm.

Which brings up another point: how long does the voting on the cloture motion stay open if it doesn't get 60 votes immediately and there are non-voting members?
