Tweety just said it's time for the Democrats to start doing something |
|
And so it starts...
He said that the Democrats need to start putting forth their plan on Iraq.
After all, it's been a week already!

12. That's the strategy...Chide the Dems to "do something..." |
|
Then bitch and moan when they do, claiming they aren't in power yet.

6. The election's over. Tweety's audience just dropped at least 75%. |
|
The public made their decision and has moved on to get ready for the holidays. Nobody's listening to Tweety except his guests.

7. He started bashing/slapping Dean on this issue on election night |
|
It was really ugly - that is to say Tweety was insane.
The Dean interview was just after Tweety had on Thief Delay. Tweety had his lips pressed to his a-hole so hard that it caused me to remember the definition of brown noser. After Dean he interviewed Frist while in that same butt-in-the-air position.

19. Yeah, Matthews was out of control on election night |
|
I caught just a bit of his ranting late Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning. He had a panel of four or five folks on, but was just going off about how none of the winning candidates were addressing him through the MSNBC cameras. Instead of talking to Tweety at his remote location, the winners were talking to the folks in the room with them, thanking their supporters, staff and volunteers, smiling, waving, clapping along to celebratory music; why, it was almost as if Tweety and The Most Important Show on Cable didn't even exist! He kept yipping about how ridiculous the candidates looked with their smiles and handshakes, balloons and clapping, and how not one of them was taking the "opportunity" to address the nation (and more importantly, Chris Matthews) directly in their moment of victory.
All of Tweety's guests, and I have no idea who they were, just kept shifting back and forth in their seats, clearly uncomfortable as Tweety kept trying to draw them into his "outrage."

Not that Tweety matters one little bit to how I sleep at night. He's not even substantial enough for me to disagree with on a consistent basis.

|
who are you calling Tweety? Are you referring to Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, or Rush Limbaugh? Are you calling Ann Coulter tweety? Which one is it?
James jpwhite@okstatealumni.org
ps. If you are referring to any of these four as tweety that is insulting to tweety bird. The tweety bird is much smarter than all four of these people combined.

It's called Zugzwang. Our team has to do nothing whatsoever for 2 1/2 months except float an idea here or there.
Why should we throw the drowning White House a line? It got itself into this idiotic predicament, we'd be fools to enable it. Be happy we're doing nothing, because we could be throwing an anvil. Or two, or three. We're going to simply let the idiocy rave and expend itself for 2+ months, until all the ego preservation (and that's all it really is) has collapsed.
Remember, these are the Republicans and military brass that refused to help in Bosnia, that obstructed and shirked and sabotaged our effort for Kosovo, and then bitched and whined when Milosevic was toppled. We shall pass over their behavior involving Somalia and Operation Desert Fox.

18. Tweety needs new fuel for his odd show, and he's not a self-starter. |
|
Yeah, the Democrats'd better get with the program and do something so he'll have a whole lot of subject matter from which to choose for his immediate shows.
Maybe he's going to have to be forced to either plan his own shows like a grown-up, carry on as usual, or wait to see what developes. It's stupid to demand instant news. Some people are a little too busy to regulate their affairs according to Chris's convenience.
He looks like a giant child, and it would seem he THINKS like a giant child, as well.
