Conservative Mag: Bush Will Keep Rove Until The End: “He Knows Too Much”...
Rove to stay until end of Bush presidency

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove sat in the audience as President Bush held a news conference in the East Room at the White House in Washington on Nov. 8.

Despite being disappointed with Karl Rove’s election performance, President Bush has agreed to keep his chief political advisor for the remainder of his administration.

Administration sources said Mr. Rove has sought to stay with Mr. Bush until the end of his presidency. The sources said despite pressure on the president to reshuffle his staff for 2007, Mr. Bush wants Mr. Rove by his side.

"He knows too much," a source said. "The last thing the president wants is another published memoir and book tour of life inside the White House."

The sources said Mr. Bush was unhappy with the failure of Mr. Rove's election strategy, which focused on national security. They said the GOP defeat would probably lead to a different relationship between the two men.

7. Not blackmail at all - Bush and Rove are two parts of the same person - what
Bush knows - Rove knows, and what Rove knows - Bush knows. People forget that Bush is ALL about the politics and campaigning as a GOP strategist for as long as Rove has been - palling around with Atwater, the trio were a pack of dirty tricksters.

The press likes to play like it's something elese to keep Bush above the filthy tricks - but it's a safe bet that Bush has come up with some of the dirty tricks himself over the last 3 elections.

2. I think if I were Rove
(gag) I would split, take the book deal (never fly in a small plane ever again), align myself with someone else and begin my reinvention.
