How long must we suffer the media's constant babbling about 2008?

No one other than the media is pushing this topic. Voters don't give a shit about 2008 and won't until today's mess in Iraq and at home is cleaned up. The RW can't suffer losing so they dredge up their media whores to talk about 2008 and every network and cable outlet talks about 2008 like it was the hottest news story in decades. This shit is maddening. 150 hostages are taken in Iraq and it get minimal coverage but 2008-Guiliani-McCain-Lieberman-Hillary is a constant barrage of puke. Media! Give it a break!!! I have to go on-line to foreign newspapers to find out what is going on in Iraq and the rest of the world.
