3. screw himself?
maybe they are thinking about saving DEMOCRATIC seats.

You can screw yourself if you think slinging mud at a fellow democrat is a healty way to move the party forward.

The bottom line is KOS IS FOR THE FILIBUSTER.

8. Hahaha - I have never registed at DailyKos
It's nothing but a circle-jerk echo chamber cult of personality, of which you evidently are a proud acolyte.

Kos is a New Democrat who claims to hate the DLC even while he supports Bob Casey. He claims to want Democrats to "stand for something" even as he openly admits he doesn't care about ideology or issues, only "strategy." He's a hypocrite through and through, and you obviously are one of his dittoheads who lets him think for you. Have fun with that.

Here's the money quote from Kos:

http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2006/1/26/183015/942
I'm not saying "don't filibuster". I'm saying, "the math is not good. We need to make it better in the future". Personally, I'd like to see a little fight on the part of Dems, and the way to do that is to filibuster. Even if it might be ultimately unsuccessful. The fact that it would put Chafee and maybe DeWine in a difficult spot would be a bonus.
