19. The last time I watched a cloture vote...
...they called the roll like this and then went back through for the actual vote. And the clerk announced the votes as they were given.

128. Defectors who say they will vote no on the reg vote
Baucus, Bingaman, Nelson of FLa, (Chafee-R), Conrad, Dorgan, Inouye, Johnson, Rockefeller, Salazar, Lincoln of AR, Lieberman, Cantwell, (Snowe-R), Kohl, (Reid just changed his mind to the good side, but he's a sheep, weak and not deserving of being the Dem senator minority leader)

Their votes are worthless, in my view. My senators, Durbin and Obama, voted no to cloture.

Shame on these folks. I will not contribute one fu**in' dime to the Dem Senate Re-election funds. I'm happy to tell my favorite former senator, John Edwards, why I cannot donate. These folks are turncoats. I respect them in the sense that they have to vote what their constituents tell them, but I also think they are not leaders in convincing folks what matters: our Constitution and our Bill of Rights.

Now the rest is just procedures. I'm very disappointed, and Bush gets another victory to put on his SOTU speech. The American People lose.

127. Looks like we are sold out
by betrayers of the Democratic party. How lovely. Harry Reid votes "aye"

How does it feel women? How does it feel to have all the money and the time spent relentlessly bolstering up this party from the grassroots, only to have them slap you upside the head? And for what?

Robert Byrd? The champion of the Constitution? Harry Reid the gaddam f**king minority leader.

Fogedda bout it. My money goes elsewhere. This will be a humiliating defeat.
