If our party wasn't united against Alito, I wonder if we'll ever stand up. Roberts was bad enough, but it's clear that Alito is to his right - and even to Scalia's right. I admit that I'm not very happy today - it's natural. Still, I think the people are realizing that Bush and the other Repuke extremists are too right wing. I'm optimistic about '06, but a lot of it depends on us defining ourselves as an alternative. We still have good potential candidates that can do this.

We LOSE EVERY SINGLE TIME! Not just on the big things, not just on the little things....not just on the court cases, the wars, the economy, etc. etc........BUT EVERYTHING!

This country is headed a certain way, and every single day that passes, I begin to realize I don't think I belong here much longer. I feel confined and trapped due to not having financial means to retire somewhere overseas....because if I did I might consider it. Someday.....but will I make it to that someday by continuing to live here. That's the real question.
